If you need to update a CAM Op that's from another setup or file but doesn't want to lose your selections/tabs/etc, you can for use the process below for updating Op settings between Fusion files or Setups.
If updating Op inside same file you can skip to #3
- Copy the Op
- Paste in new file or setup
- Then select both Ops and right-click to do a Compare
- Choose "Different" in the dropdown filter
- Update the items you want to the existing Op
- Delete pasted Op
The benefit of doing it this way versus a straight copy/paste is it will not remove previous selections or file specific things but simply updates the settings.
